Various motorized actuators could be used for
web tensions control systems.
ATC 2000 Series is available with outputs to
control D.C. or A.C. motor as actuators for Unwinder,
Reminder and Intermediate web tension applications
and Torque motor for Re-winder web tension
applications.
ATC 2000 Series is compatible to all types of
Actuators presently used in Tension Control Systems.

FIVE DRIVE CONTROL SYSTEM |

The five drive control system is a users specific tailor
made system consists of the following zones : |

In this zone the tension is controlled by load cell
feed back and actuators could be powder brake,
pneumatic brake, D.C. or A.C. motor depending on the
application and requirements of the client. The
controller ensures that the tension is maintained through
out the roll. |

| |
In this zone the tension of the web entering the
Infeed nip and in the span between the first printing
station nip is maintain constant. This zone is synchronized
with the main drive and maintains tension with load cell
feedback positioned between the first printing station
and in feed nip. The actuator could be A.C. or D.C.
motor. |

| |
In this zone all the printing station are powered by a
single motor A.C. or D.C. through a line shaft. The speed
could be set by means of push buttons and is also
displayed in digital readouts. The controller ensures that
the set speed is maintained throughout the printing
process. |

In this zone the tension of the web in section between the last printing station and the
Out feed nip is maintained
constant. This zone is synchronize by the main drive and has load cell feedback positioned between the last printing nip
and the Out feed nip to maintain the tension constant. The actuator could be A.C. or D.C. motor. |

In this zone the tension is controlled by tension feedback and the actuators could be A.C. motor, D.C. motor, A.C.
torque motor or powder clutch, depending on the application and requirements of the client. The controller ensure
that the set tension is maintained through the built up of the roll. |
