In Modern Production plants, processes are largely automated with manual interventions being reduced as far as possible, hence Automatic Web Tension controlling is essential.ATC 2000 series controls Unwinding, Rewinding and Intermediate web tension automatically.Set the desire tension and hence the controller will automatically maintain it by compensating any of the following such as brake, speed, pressure etc. depending on application. Actual tension and set tension is displayed on the digital meter. Standard features include auto/ manual, tension on/off, manual setting pot, soft start and mains on/off.Web tension Controller ATC 2000 series is an enclosure which contains the outputs to control motor drive, powder brakes, pneumatic brakes etc.

POWDER BRAKES
The coupling comprises of two concentric parts, the body or input part containing the field coil within it,separated by small annular gap, an inner rotor, or output part. The annular gap contains a ferromagnetic powder,which is activated when the coil is energized. The resultant flux which is generated, passes through the powder,causing it to align with the flux path, and thereby creates a driving bond between input and output part, thestrength of which is solely determined by value of D.C. current applied to the field coil.

WEB TENSION INDICATORS
ATI 102
Alteem Tension Indicator (ATI-102) generates accurate and necessary output for Load Cell. It amplifies the inputted feedback to the operating range of the load cell. It also generates the error value from the feedback data and set tension. The Set tension can be set by the external pot provided on the assembly. Different switches given on the assembly gives digital value at the display such as tension and set tension.
 
ALA 101
Alteem Load Cell Amplifier (ALA-101) generates accurate and necessary output for Load Cell. It amplifies the inputted feedback to the operating range of the load cell. It also generates the error value from the feedback data and set tension. The Set tension can be set by the external pot provided on the assembly.

Alteem Tension Transducers (Load cells) measure actual web tension of any moving web with accurate output which can further be manipulated by any indicator or controller.It is
made of rugged stainless steel and aluminum housing to give a dependable performance

push/ball bearing mounting provided on the load cells make it simpler to fix the rotating orstationary idle rollers.
